1. Key Points for All Presenters

  • All presenters must check into the Speaker Ready Room (MOA 2 Room) at least 2 hours prior to their session time in order to verify their presentation or to upload a revised version to the computer network.
  • The Speaker Ready Room will be networked with the session rooms, which means your presentation will be automatically distributed to your session room once it is uploaded in the Speaker Ready Room. Therefore, presentations will not be accepted directly in the session rooms for uploading.
  • All presentations should be prepared for PowerPoint 2013/2016 on Windows-based PCs in 16:9 format – widescreen format though 4:3 presentations will also be accepted.
  • Use of individual laptop computers is not permitted.
  • “Presenter View” will be available.
  • PowerPoint for MAC files should be tested on a PC before attending the event.
  • Keynote for MAC or presentations on Prezzie or Canva will not be accepted. They must be exported to PowerPoint.
  • VIDEOS: Your videos must be embedded in the presentation (only possible on PowerPoint 2016 or newer). Please advise the Speaker Ready Room staff if your presentation includes video so that we may test prior to the session.
  • Please proceed to your meeting room 10 minutes before session start time in order to introduce yourself to the session chair(s) and to familiarize yourself with the set-up.
  • We are on a tight schedule. Please make sure to adhere to your allotted speaking time!

Pre-Congress Presenter

  • The speaker presenting during the Pre-Congress program would need to follow the same instructions as above, with the exception of the Speaker Ready Room upload.
  • We would ask you to send us a copy of your presentation by September 15 to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. so that we can insert it into the session room computer in advance of your session on September 18 morning.

2. Before You Depart

Backup
Please bring a copy of your presentation along with you when you depart for your meeting. If you inserted videos into your PPT and they became embedded, no further action is required. If the videos are playing as external files, save them in the same folder as your PowerPoint.

3. At the Congress

Presenters MUST review their presentation in the Speaker Ready Room at least 2 hours prior to their scheduled Session. The Speaker Ready Room staff will do their best to assist you in case you have compatibility or formatting issues.
